Tips & Advice

Are you registered to vote?

By TerSL 24 Apr 2017

Now that there is going to be a general election on 8 June - it's important that you register to vote and have your say. It's really simple to register and takes just a few minutes.  You'll need your National Insurance number to hand, so get it ready before you start.

The deadline for registering to vote in the General Election is 22 May. You don’t need to register again if you’ve already registered but it's too late to register for the 4 May local elections.

Students can be included in the electoral roll in both their home and University area.
