You've probably got around 3 weeks off for Christmas, and initially, this sounds like quite a long time
But, you'll be surprised how quickly time flies throughout December, so make sure you spend it wisely. Here are just some of the things you probably should do...
See family and friends
It's an obvious one but catching up with relatives and your mates from home is so important. You might be in high demand for visits from close family, so plan ahead and make sure you have time to see everyone.
We don't mean to dampen your Christmas spirit but unfortunately, it just has to be done. Whether you've got exams straight after the break or you've got a big essay deadline, plan your time so you're not cramming it all in on the last weekend.
Enjoy some downtime
Be a big believer in 'work hard, play hard' and balance out your study time with fun things. This includes indulging in the usual traditions of watching your favourite Christmas films, baking gingerbread cookies or playing rubbish board games with your family.
Update your CV, apply for part-time work or why not seek out some work experience or arrange a placement for 2018? It might seem far away but it's always good to plan ahead, plus you'll get a pick of the best ones out there!
There are no rowdy flatmates and you're back in that comfy bed that makes you miss home the most, so get a good night's sleep! You'll be more productive this way and get the most of your days.
