Photography exhibition 'Wellbeing and Time'

Come and see ‘Wellbeing and Time’, a free photography exhibition on Friar Gate which showcases Derby students' work.

Ten University of Derby Photography students will be exhibiting their work from this Saturday as part of the off-year programme for the FORMAT International Photography Festival 2018, alongside new work by established photographic artists.

Presented by Bird in the Air Pump, ‘Wellbeing and Time’ explores issues of social wellbeing in the widest sense. Themes range from poverty, social exclusion, age, health and the environment to the impact of social media, gender representation and the value of the photograph as a social artefact.

Dates: Saturday 17 March to 14th April

Times: Thursday to Friday, 11am to 5pm

Venue: The Art House, 5 Friar Gate, Derby, DE1 1BU

The exhibition presents a diverse range of media and practices including large-scale analogue and digital prints, video, sculpture and installation.
