Halls

Springfest:A resounding success

By TerSL 11 Apr 2017

The weather was fine and students came in droves to the Halls Springfest on 5 April.  By far the most popular attraction of the day was the petting farm.  Students loved it.  However the volley hall tournament with free pizza, bouncy castle, assault course and bands and barbecue also proved popular.

Staff dressed up to a farm theme; The ice cream van arrived and extra barbecue supplies were needed at Sir Peter Hilton Court – the things students will do for free food!.

The music was provided by local musicians :

  • Sunflower Thieves
  • The Herron Brothers
  • Charlie Scotton
  • Chris Fahy

It was a last hurrah before the Easter holidays and great fun was had by all.

Another cracking event organised by the halls social team!
