Super 7 tips for a happy year at Uni

  1. Make the most of it –

Join new societies, try new things, make as many new friends as you can.

  1. Budget –

Don’t let your finances run away with you.  Talk to your Hall Manager , the SU or the Finance Dept if you’re  having problems.  They’re there to help.

  1. Keep on top of your Uni work –

Speak to your tutor if you need advice or support.

  1. Eat properly –

Pot noodles, chocolate and crisps are not part of your 5 a day.  Sharing the cooking can be cheaper easier and friendlier.

  1. Have a cleaning rota –

Boring but worth it.  It’s the best way to avoid arguments with your flatmates.

  1. Talk to someone about any problems-

Our door is always open and the Wellbeing Service is there for you – so use it if you need to.  Also let us know if there any issues with your flat.

  1. Keep in touch with the folks at home -

They’ll be wondering how you’re getting on.
