Time travel with the Medieval Re-enactment Society

By TerSL 18 Aug 2016

Take yourself back in time and join the medieval Re-enactment Society. Focusing primarily on the events between the reign of Henry I and King John, the group is affiliated with the larger nationwide group called Historia Normannis.

The society focuses on recreating civilian and military life including authentic camping, cooking, practicing historical skills and trades, and playing historical musical instruments or board games

The events organised by the group allow YOU to engage with history – seeing, feeling and hearing first-hand aspects of the lives and deaths of 12th century people – Knights, freemen, craftsmen, ladies of the court and Barons of the realm.
